ALL TEETH REPLACEMENT (AT THE LOWER AND/OR UPPER JAW)

In many cases, due to jawbone resorption, removable complete dentures become loose and/or even unstable.

A low-cost solution is to place two or four implants (depending on the bone quality/quantity and possible positions).

The overdenture is then fixed on the implants by a connecting device, i.e. a clip or a bar. An implant-supported denture, even if removable, is much more stable.

This procedure is frequently used for elderly patients (80 and above), increasing considerably their life quality.

FULL LOWER DENTURE

The full denture is supported by 2 implants + clips.

FULL UPPER DENTURE

The full denture is supported by 4 implants + bar.

As jawbone shrinks, gum tissue recedes, which would make artificial teeth look longer. This is aesthetically not acceptable.

The solution is to place 4 or 6 implants, on which an acrylic bridge is screwed (with artificial gum to give back proper facial support).

This solution allows patients to have a fixed denture at reasonable prices.

New: with computer-aided technology, the placing of implants (without gum opening) and provisory prosthesis is simultaneous – with a treatment time of about 1h30.

This procedure allows the placement of implants, even if jawbone has drastically shrunk. No need of bone grafting.

FIXED SCREWED-IN PROSTHESIS
ON IMPLANTS

If there is enough bone hight (i.e. jawbone has not yet significantly shrunk) a full ceramic bridge can be placed.

This solution provides distinct advantages: by placing several implants, it helps reduce bone loss and shrinkage, and maximize aesthetics.

It is however necessary to place a high number of implants (7 to 8 at least).

This solution is also more expensive.

FIXED SCREWED-IN BRIDGE
ON IMPLANTS

In case of severe bone resorption, our Centre offers a unique alternative: a FIXED screwed-in prosthesis on specific implants: zygomatic implants (or zygoma).

Zygomatic implants are long screw-shaped implants , inserted through the posterior alveolar crest and maxillary sinus into the body of the zygomatic bone (very dense cheek bone).

Depending on the bone volume, either 2 ordinary implants in the frontal maxilla with 2 zygomatic implants, or, in extreme cases, 4 zygomatic implants are placed.

Our Dental Implant Centre is a pioneer in this technology in France. We have many years’ experience in placing zygomatic implants.

It requires experienced and trained surgeons (as well as general anaesthesia).
